Pelosi to Call for Special Envoy to Sudan

Let the French- German- Eurobastards do something for a change! Are we really prepared to jump into yet another country's civil strife? For Pete's sake, when is enough, enough? When do our own issues finally come to the foreground and we quit hunting for ways to avoid them. I'm no monster, I know Sudan is in deep trouble and someone should help, but must it always be US? When the stewardess gives you lifesaving instructions on how to use the emergency oxygen masks, she says and I quote

"Pull firmly down on the mask to extend the tube, and place over your mouth and nose. If you are traveling with the elderly or small children, place the mask securely on your face and then assist the other"


We haven't even pulled the mask down yet people! Poverty in our inner cities, Hurricane victims wandering the streets, crack junkies raising children, gang violence killing children, grown men hunting little girls, children killing each other in our schools. We have absolutely no need to look elswhere to do very real and meaningful, and urgent humanitarian work.
